Exploring the world of Vintage-style clothing

In my previous blog entry, I discussed the popular cottagecore style, a vintage trend. To learn more, visit this blog:

Cottagecore style

Cottagecore style is a vintage-inspired aesthetic that romanticizes rural life. On the other hand, vintage-style clothing refers to clothing that is inspired by fashion trends from the past. It can include various eras, such as the 1920s, 1950s, or 1970s, retro style. Vintage-style clothing aims to recreate the look and feel of clothing from a specific time period.

When it comes to modest fashion, both cottagecore style and vintage-style clothing can be incorporated. Modest vintage-style clothing would typically involve long skirt, higher necklines, and looser silhouettes. It allows individuals to express their personal style while adhering to modesty standards.

I wanted to write different articles about these popular trends to provide you with an understanding of cottagecore style and vintage style. I personally found it confusing and wanted to ensure you have a clear understanding of these popular trends.

Vintage style gives you a little more versatility to juggle with this old and trending style, being able to incorporate cottage-core style, retro style, and different eras styles into your of modest fashion collection.

In recent times, there has been a renewed interest in vintage fashion, many women’s are more interested in modest wear and simple living. I personally also prefer this style, but living in a city make it harder to adopt.

Vintage style is not just about clothing, it’s also about embracing a more natural lifestyle. This includes everything from home decor to cooking, cleaning and using natural detergents. It’s a complete way of living.

If you want more in-depth information about vintage lifestyle, home decor, cooking/backing schedules and natural ingredients for your house (also more economical, although it may initially be challenging until you become accustomed to making most things yourself and getting organized, but I can help with that), kindly comment down below and subscribe to newsletter to let you know when it’s ready.

Whith that being said, let’s jump into the vintage clothing style, because about that is this article and I don’t want you to get bored.

Vintage dresses and coats

Vintage winter outfits

Modest vintage dresses are a great choice for a more covered and conservative look. If you are not new to my blog, you already know that dresses are my go-to outfit. The dresses are featured with longer hemlines, higher necklines, and looser silhouettes, or you can pair them with a turtleneck sweater which aligns well with modest fashion. They can be worn for various occasions, including weddings, parties, or even everyday wear.

You can pair your vintage dress with a long wool coat for a foolproof combination that exudes timeless elegance. Vintage coats are usually long and are known for their superior quality and wide and cambered design. You can also find a combination of a short vintage coat and a wool skirt like this one.
